Ormoglass Colour Coating
ORMOGLASS colour coating is a solvent-based colour varnish that creates a very thin layer of colour and perfectly imitates coloured glass.
ORMOGLASS colour coatings can be applied to surfaces using paint application processes.
ORMOGLASS colour coatings are available in almost all colours with a gloss or matt finish. In addition, it is possible to mix desired colours from colour concentrates and clear or matt media.
ORMOGLASS colour coatings are dye-based and pass the tests of the cosmetics industry (L'Oreal test, cross hatch, acetone, alcohol).
ORMOGLASS colour coatings can be applied by brushing, dipping or spraying. ORMOGLASS OP and ORMOGLASS SW are designed for brush application due to their higher viscosity.
ORMOGLASS colour coatings are offered in different versions. You are welcome to take advantage of our advice in order to select the ORMOGLASS colour coatings that are right for you.
Thermal curing is necessary for ideal resistance. The following minimum times have proven themselves:
160°C: 30 minutes
180°C: 10 minutes
190°C: 5 minutes
To achieve best leach resistance values, we recommend curing at 190°C for 20 minutes.
